WYOMING postcard

  • Burlington Route card with:  You may travel to the far corners of the earth without ever finding a place half as wonderful as our own Yellowstone National Park for a glourious, diversified vacation.  Daily all summer the Burlington operates through Pullmans to and from both the Cody and the Gardiner gateways of Yellowstone...from Chicago, Kansas City, Omaha and Denver...over the shortest route and in faster time than any other railroad.
  • On the front is a picture of Wild Bill, closeup of the museum itself and a little view of a covered wagon being pulled by oxen (not horses) with a couple of men with their guns drawn as if shooting at the indians? seen approaching.  Wording:  Cody, Wyo., is the eastern and famed scenic entrance to Yellowstone Park / Buffalo Bill Museum at Cody, Wyoming, in the heart of a frontier region where the famous plainsman wrote his glowing passages into the history of the West.  A pleasant interlude for Burlington travelers entering or leaving Yellowstone Park viea the Cody gateway.
  • Please note that the majority of the cards are over 50 years old and as such, are sold AS IS. Tears will be noted but it would be too timely to note each fault on every card.  If condition is important to you - contact us with our number in the title & what it is that you would like to know or what it is that you would like pictured more closely.
  • Again, because of the age of the cards - they are noted as being USED - no matter if they are written on or not.
