• An official War Memorial of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, this battleship saw action in both the European and Pacific theatres of operations in WWII.  It won 11 battle stars and participated in as many campaigns without the loss of a single man.  It is permanently berthed in the Taunton River at Fall River, Mass
