Michigan postcard
-
mailed 1914
- back: This land was donated to the city by ex-senator Thomas W Palmer in 1893, situated north of the city at the extreme terminal of the Woodward – Avenue car line, and is one of the cities favorite breathing spots. It's centerpiece is a log cabin which is an exact reproduction of the home in which senator Palmer resided when Detroit was little more than a trading post
- The sign under the well's roof reads: visitors - requested - not pick flowers ____ T W Palmer
- Please note that the majority of the cards are over 50 years old and as such, are sold AS IS. Tears will be noted but it would be too timely to note each fault on every card. If condition is important to you - contact us with our number in the title & what it is that you would like to know or what it is that you would like pictured more closely.
- Because of the age of the cards - they are noted as being USED - no matter if they are written on or not.
