This is a unique postcard in that it folds down to make the sunflower stick up - may be considered a mechanical postcard.

Patent Applied for by Bates Printing Co and copyrighted 1936.  Shows calendar pages for October and November 1936.  Has Landon and Knox inside the sunflower flower.  

Card:  Keep Ralph Church in Congress / Able - Fearless - Experienced / a perfect attendance Record.  Back:  On his 18 year record of efficient public service in State Legislature and United Stats Congress / Re-Elect Ralph E Church - Republican Candidate / 10th Congressional District

This card is listed under SKOKIE, IL because that is where his body is located.  My research stated that on 3-21-1950 he died while appearing before the Committee on Expenditures in the Executive Departments, in the House Office Building in Washington, DC
