ENGLAND / UNITED KINGDOM postcard
-
mailed 1908
- Clacton on Sea is a town in Essex, England
-
titled: PIER AVENUE, CLACTON ON SEA
- shows a busy street scene with: a lot of people on the street, some of which are turning back to the photographer, I would assume. On the lower right is what I believe to be a paper boy as he appears to be holding newspapers, man with suit case, another walking with a cane, all men with hats and on and on, There is even a BOBBY, or cop that is standing in the road to the left of the horse and buggy with a license plate number of 119.
- Signs: The CLARENCE RESTAURANT DINNERS TEAS (a second flag sign for it as well) / ICES / L F or L P Photograp__ (photographer or photography) and on the right: LIBRARY / MANN / CHEMIS DINING ROOMS with possibly SERVED ON BAM(boo?) underneath / THE AVENUE ________ / possibly CYCLE STORE

- Please note that the majority of the cards are over 50 years old and as such, are sold AS IS. Tears will be noted but it would be too timely to note each fault on every card. If condition is important to you - contact us with our number in the title & what it is that you would like to know or what it is that you would like pictured more closely.

Again, because of the age of the cards - they are noted as being USED - no matter if they are written on or not.
