Back of the card has 225th Anniversary - Founders Week - 1683 October 4-10 1908 printed

Also printed:  Betsy Ross House, Arch Street east of Third, where the first American Flag was designed and made.  At the time of the Revolution, John Ross kept an upholsterers shop.  He died in the Continental Army, and his widow continued the business.  In May, 1776 Geo. Washington and a Committee employed Betsy Ross to make a sample flag which was adopted as the National Emblem.  At the time she made the flag, she was 24 years old
