NEW YORK POSTCARD

  • mailed 1907
  • P S and Co icon - No 1012 Arthur Martin, Pub
  • There are signs for CROSS CHAMBERS/CROSS APARTMENTS TO LET / LINCOLN TRUST CO (and maybe WATSON SAFE DEPOSITS) / TAMMANY HALL - A PAD OF GOOD Ps - VOTE FOR PARKER (shows a man's face on a large pod of peas)
  • Believe that this is Alton Parker who ran with Henry Davis politically.  Alton was a Democrat who lost the presidential election campaign in 1904 to Theodore Roosevelt
  • Also a large banner type sign over the street but I am unable to see what it says
  • Please note that the majority of the cards are over 50 years old and as such, are sold AS IS. Tears will be noted but it would be too timely to note each fault on every card.  If condition is important to you - contact us with our number in the title & what it is that you would like to know or what it is that you would like pictured more closely.
  • Again, because of the age of the cards - they are noted as being USED - no matter if they are written on or not.
