Michigan postcard

  • mailed but year not clear, but could be 191_ or 1919??
  • back:  Monroe Avenue is Detroits's Great Amusement Thoroughfare.  Here are located the Temple, Family, Columbia Royale and National Theatres, also any number of Nickel Shows.  The electric display at night is very brilliant and here we _____ the crowd in the evening.  
  • front shows signs for:  San Marto Coffee / Cascade (with a bottle to the right) / BONDS (#15, street address?) / Waitt & Bond BLACKSTONE Mild 10 cent Cigar / ____ Ralston and probably others if you knew what was actually there at the time
  • This card has major issues of wrinkling, tiny tears and all around soft structure - but a good portrayal of the time - so sold AS IS
