Greetings from type card showing the great seal of the state of NJ

• back:  ......which appears on the State Flag, was originally authorized Oct 3, 1776 but was not adopted until 1928.  The seal, with its motto, LIBERTY AND PROSPERITY.  Its 3 plows, on a shield surmounted by a helmet and horses head, was designed by Pierre Eugene Du Simitiere.
