• The flint like rock of which this cone is composed has been deposited by the hot water thrown out during eruption of the giant geyser over a great period of time.  No change in its appearance has been noted since a pencil sketch of it was made in 1870
• This is one of many different Yellowstone postcards that we have up for sale at this time.  If your collection field is Yellowstone, know that if you choose to purchase more than 1 item, that we will combine shipment for any number of cards under our flat $2 s/h fee.   Only available when all are paid for with a single payment........so ask for a combined invoice BEFORE you actually pay.
