• The arch at the northern entrance of the park at Gardiner, Montana was built in 1903 under the direction of General Hiram M Chittenden,and was dedicated that year by President Theodore Roosevelt.  It bears the appropriate inscription "For the benefit and enjoyment of the people" an extract from the Act of Dedication of the park dated March 1, 1872.
• This is one of many different Yellowstone postcards that we have up for sale at this time.  If your collection field is Yellowstone, know that if you choose to purchase more than 1 item, that we will combine shipment for any number of cards under our flat $2 s/h fee.   Only available when all are paid for with a single payment........so ask for a combined invoice BEFORE you actually pay.
• Please note that the majority of the cards are over 50 years old and as such, are sold AS IS. Tears will be noted but it would be too timely to note each fault on every card.  If condition is important to you - contact us with our number in the title & what it is that you would like to know or what it is that you would like pictured more closely.
• Again, because of the age of the cards - they are noted as being USED - no matter if they are written on or not.
