  • back:  This building erected in 1953-56 has attracted world wide attention.  Its unique design called for 3 original domes 32 ft x 120 ft and provided for 3 additional ones as needed.  The 4th dome is now completed.  All are without internal supports.  The airport honors St Louisan Major Albert Bond Lambert, pioneer aviator instructor of World War I and a student of Orville Wright (1909).  Major Lambert was a principal supporter of Charles Lindbergh.  Hellmuth, Obata and Kassabaum, Architects
  • Please note that the majority of the cards are over 50 years old and as such, are sold AS IS. Tears will be noted but it would be too timely to note each fault on every card.  If condition is important to you - contact us with our number in the title & what it is that you would like to know or what it is that you would like pictured more closely.
  • Again, because of the age of the cards - they are noted as being USED - no matter if they are written on or not.
