Iowa postcard - Maurice, IA

• sign on face of building: General Blacksmithing / T Stellingwerf Prop - with what I believe to be him out in front with possibly a tool in his hand

• on back in pencil:  This is Tabbe Stellingwerf Black Smiths Shop
• In order to have a town/city to place this card - I did some research and did find a gravestone for Taeke Stellingwerf (Sept 13, 1881 to Sept 7, 1953) and one for his wife Tillie (Feb 4, 1884 to Sept 4, 1969) in Maurice, Iowa.  As The Alton Studio - Kodak Finishing was from Alton, Iowa (less than 10 miles away) I feel comfortable placing this card under Maurice, Iowa.  The 1940 Census record has a Tabbe Stellingwerf ( born in Holland - 58 years old in Maurice) with a wife Tillie and son Nicolas in Maurice.  It stated that Tabbe was a BLACKSMITH.  
• Has AZO on stamp box with 2 up and 2 down triangles that normally dates 1917 to 1930, I believe
• Very well could be the only example of this pose and would be a great addition to collectors of Iowa, history, old trades, blacksmithing, RPPCs and so many other
