  • On the corner of the white building there is a sign LONGS PLATING AND POLISHING WORKS - with a large hand with a finger pointing to the right.  Underneath that there is a sign for A D TUSS? - and to the left is something like FANCY AND STAPLE (which you may know what it was suppose to read)
  • Back:  Was erected by enthusiastic Frenchmen as a future residence for Napoleon Bonaparte, then confined at St Helena.  The expedition for whose rescue was planned and financed by Nicholas Girod, ex-mayor of New Orleans.  Dominick You, lieutenant of the pirate La Fayette was to lead the venture.  The enterprise was abandoned through the unexpected death of the Emperor.
  • C T American Art
  • A one line advertisement at the bottom of the back of the card reads:  GET THE HABIT - EAT BRER RABBIT SYRUPS AND MOLASSES
  • Please note that the majority of the cards are over 50 years old and as such, are sold AS IS. Tears will be noted but it would be too timely to note each fault on every card. If condition is important to you - contact us with our number in the title & what it is that you would like to know or what it is that you would like pictured more closely.
  • Because of the age of the cards - they are noted as being USED - no matter if they are written on or not.
